Experience and Training
I have spent over 13 years working as a counsellor, during my training and since qualification. Over this time, extensive experience of working with clients both short and long term has been gained as well as specialist experience of time limited work with clients who have addiction issues. In this field I have undertaken further training in CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Solution focussed techniques. In addition, I have also worked longer term with clients who have required deeper exploration of issues such as: abuse, addiction, relationship problems, stress, anxiety, panic attacks, self esteem, loss, bereavement, work-related issues, depression and child related issues.
At present I work in two settings. One of these is within a large Charity where I work within a time-limited framework with clients who have addiction issues. My other work arena is my private practice. From my home I see clients for both short and long term work who have wide ranging issues.

My fees are £40 for an initial assessment and then £40 for each ongong weekly counselling session.
